There is lots of speculation about why. Of course it has and will come up time and again that a minority couple can't carry a Primetime series that isn't a comedy.
But I liked this article and the breakdown that was given.
Unfortunately, this may have set us back. Who knows how long it will be before a network or producer takes a chance on headlining with an AA couple again?
Ah well...

I tried to watch it, but coupled with my then care taking duties and finding it boring, I never made it past the 2nd week. The article's break down was pretty good.
I really, really wanted to like this show, but just couldn't get into it after watching the first 3 episodes. Still, I hoped that it would make it because it would have been another show that portrayed Blacks in a positive light.
