How Do You Feel About Your Parts?
I am really interested. I would appreciate if you would leave your thoughts on them here. And if you have already posted on the subject, please leave me a link or tell me where I can find it on your blog.

I guess I should have waited until the end to comment......
i love my parts. they are still perfect after 11+ years. i would not have wanted the zig-zag look, especially before i started wearing hijab and thought i was an even greater diva (lol).
a couple of ways: sometimes i go to a master trainer and other times i maintain my own hair. the key for me has been regular retightenings and groomings. and i try to schedule at least 1 session per year just to have someone go over my parts and put those stray hairs back where they belong. also, when i retighten my own hair i use clips on 2-4 sides of the lock that i am working on; and use the sisterlocks hook tool b/c it picks up less stray hair than the clip tool (for me and my hair texture).
